Filmpac’s Newly-Designed Project Feature

Filmpac’s newly-designed Project Feature is a powerful tool for collaborative video editing. Here’s a quick rundown of how it works, and how I used it to help create a voting-specific PSA.

You can access your projects under the my account dropdown. From there, you’ll see a list of your existing projects, as well as the ability to start a new one. You can organize your projects with multiple views, and sort alphabetically, or by most recent.

Once your project is created, you can add any type of asset to it. Simply click on the project icon next to the asset, and select the project you want to add it to. 

Within the project, you can toggle between footage clips, music tracks, and sound effects. You can also comment interactively with other users of the project, for instant feedback.

For seamless collaboration, you can share your project with anyone other Filmpac account holder, and assign them as either an editor or a reviewer. You can also create a public project link, and send it to anyone.

Now, your team can review notes, add, remove, and download assets, and start editing.
