10. A SINISTER LOOKING FIGURE IN FRONT OF A FIRE.

Stock footage of fire is very popular because of its wide range of meanings and emotions.  Add a sinister figure and some slow motion to it and all of a sudden we have a video clip that communicates not only cinematic excellence, but anger, introspection, and mystery.

9. A WILDLY ATHLETIC YOUNG DUDE GRINDING ON THAT ASSAULT BIKE

Health and fitness footage that really looks authentic and real is a tough task to capture for cinematographers and directors.  In this clip our model is a former collegiate athlete and wildly athletic.  Couple that with an amazing facility, a beautiful sunset, and anamorphic glass, and we have one of my favorite shots of all time on the assault bike.

8. CREATIVE TEAM COLLABORATING IN AN OFFICE ENVIRONMENT

Once again, capturing real and authentic genuine moments is tough, but even tougher when you’re combining models and directing multiple people with different personalities. However, this workplace scene communicating collaboration and teamwork hits the mark on every level, and is one of our top pacs of 2021.

7. AN ATHLETIC WOMAN SCALING UP THE SIDE OF A ROCK WALL

Shooting extreme sports footage is very difficult. Everyone involved from the model to the videographer has to have a certain level of athleticism, especially when we’re throwing out the GoPro or action cam for a real cinema camera like this clip shot on RED. These kinda shots communicate grit, motivation, determination, hard work, risks, and so much more. 

6. PEDESTRIANS IN DOWNTOWN NEW YORK CITY

When we think about people and populations, we think about new york city. This shot was captured at just the right location and right time for that cool silhouette effect and the yellow taxis going buy and those iconic deep streets just makes this a really special shot in the filmpac library.

5. YOUNG CREATIVE ON HER LAPTOP AT A MODERN WORKPLACE

This scene is kinda your aspirational young creative. She’s working or drafting up an email in an inspiring office environment with the cool big windows in downtown portland oregon. Super useful and effective shot.

4. EARTH. A DRAMATIC PERSPECTIVE OF OUR GALAXY

The allure and wonder and whimsey of space travel is not just still cool for kids…its also still cool for filmmakers. We love the look and imaginative representation of earth and the galaxy. These renderings are constantly a favorite in the Filmpac library.

3. A SWEET OLDER COUPLE AT SUNSET ON THE BEACH

At Filmpac we take a lot of pride in the diversity of our library, not just in race, but also in age demographics. So we feature older generations in our footage from lifestyle to workplace to extracurricular activities and in this shot, a romantic older couple taking in the sunset at Laguna Beach, California.

2. A FOGGY SUNRISE OVER THE OPEN FOREST

What happens when you combine a forest with a sunrise and a foggy morning? This aerial shot of an autumn morning in the pacific northwest is one of my faves as it communicates life and a new day and emotion and beauty. A top shot of ours.

1. DEDICATED HARD WORKING MAN AT THE OFFICE

Everyone can connect with hard work, and staying the extra time to get that project or proposal or test prep finished. This scene features a man staying late, stressed, but encouraged and dedicated to his work. This is our all-time most popular scene.
